When did they become part of the .NET Framework? Now these languages aren’t difficult to learn and I have nothing against learning them. I simply feel that there’s got to some jobs out there developing on windows. The move from PC to Web only apps can’t have happened already, can it?

I told you I was working on it. The last time I made a change to my web site was in 2002 and it was about time I updated it with something. The old page looked good at the time, but aged poorly and at the end was hard for me to look at. So now I have this blog, brought to use by the wonderful people at WordPress. It’s a huge improvement from the old html site and I’m happy to have made the switch. I only need to find things to write about.

At some point in the future I’ll post about my continuing search for a job. I left my previous job after 5 years of service there. It wasn’t easy, but I had to do it if I wanted to stay away from becoming just another code/programmer. I might also write about the upcoming BPL season an how the team I follow, Manchester United, are doing. Mostly I think I’ll be posting about programming and geek stuff.

It’s late and I like to be brief. This concludes my first entry here on the blog. I’m Marcus Johnson and I hope you enjoy your stay here.
